Since your music criticism is so erudite and usually classical-focused, I was hoping you would comment. Thanks for this. Little known Prince anecdote: Clare Fischer, who provided string arrangements for Prince from 1985 until the former’s passing, never met Prince in person, because they worked so well together Prince never wanted to jinx the relationship. Fischer was among the Purple One’s major collaborators, check out “Pink Cashmere.”
